

This can be accomplished by opening Notepad and then copying or pasting the text file with the items list. In Notepad, you can include any other separator to create a comma-separated list by replacing invisible characters with any other separator. A newline is the end of a line and the beginning of a new one because it is invisible to the eye. Notepad has the ability to replace any separators in your text files with newline characters. If there is a list of values separated by a character in a text file, you can perform the newline conversion automatically.


If the file is UNIX or Mac EOL encoded, the file will only show the LF (*n). When it is a Windows encoded file, CR LF will display newline characters (**r**n). Notepad will display all characters with newline characters in either the CR or LF formats. By clicking pilcrow (), any text file can be accessed.
